Two options are present for the search for terms in dictionaries:

  • Either you activate the option Starting Searchstring to ensure a term is amongst the search results only if it starts with the string to be searched for,
  • or you activate the option Containing Searchstring. With this option, after entering the string to be searched for in the dictionaries, terms containing the user’s input at any position will also be listed among the search results.
  •

The search is not case sensitive. Searching for special characters is possible. The use of wildcards (*,?) is not possible. The default setting is the option Starting Searchstring.
