Key combinations to copy sheets

By using the following key combinations, you can copy sheets and sheet associations quickly and effectively. This functionality is based upon the option Paste Special.

To copy a sheet or a sheet association

  1. In the navigation pane, select the sheet or the association of the sheet.
  2. Use the following key combinations to copy the sheet or the association, and drag the object to its destination while keeping the left mouse key pressed:

  3. Shift key

    The sheet is copied with the shapes displayed on it.

    Ctrl key

    The sheet with the shapes displayed on it and all associated objects are copied. The objects are placed in the copy basket.

    Shift + Ctrl key

    The sheet is copied with the shapes displayed on it, the shapes are associated with the objects of the original sheet. The sheet is associated with the same object as the original sheet.

  5. The sheet is copied.
