1              New Features of ELCAD/AUCOPLAN Version 7.9.0

The new ELCAD/AUCOPLAN version 7.9.0 now also supports the latest Windows versions 8.1, Server 2012 and Server 2012 R2. Furthermore licensing with FlexNet is now supported. For more information please refer to the end of this document and to Downloads on the AUCOTEC AG homepage.

Among other things, the focus of version 7.9.0 was the multiuser operating mode in ELCAD list editing, easy navigation from drawings to I/O components, direct change of strips in the terminal block designer and the optimisation of the symbol dialog editor.

The features to open and change the user and project settings directly in drawing editing and to automatically create graphical symbol catalogs with several symbols per sheet were also implemented in version 7.9.0.

In addition we have thoroughly analysed your requests and requirements and have put together many of these points in the version 7.9.0. With the current version many editing steps become even more efficient, and the operation becomes even easier.

As always, the main focus of all extensions is on the compatibility of your data and easier handling.
