Primary and secondary representations

If an object has multiple representations on the diagrams, you will find multiple cross-references in the Explorer. However, only one representation can be shown on worksheets. By default, the alphanumerically first cross-reference is used as the primary representation.

To prevent a representation from being used as the primary representation, you can check the Secondary Representation flag.

To check the Secondary Representation flag

  1. Select the cross-reference in the Explorer and click Open on the shortcut menu.
  2. On the System Attributes tab, check the checkbox Secondary Representation and click OK.
  3. The representation is no longer used as primary representation.
