Changing the width of a column

To change the width of a column

  1. On the worksheet, place the cursor on the vertical divider between the column headers.
  2. The cursor changes to a double-headed column selector: .
  3. Drag the vertical divider to the new position.
  4. This changes the width of the column.
 

To avoid unintentional changes to the column width, use the command Protect Column Width from the shortcut menu of the column header.
