1.3.1 How to Place Core Symbols from the Item Editor on the Drawings using Drag & Drop
You can now place the cores of a cable together with standard symbols by drag & drop and simultaneously assign the core to a connection in the drawing.
To do that you first have to specify standard symbols in the user or project settings under "Drawing / Standard Symbols" under the headline "Symbols for inserting parts of cables". A maximum of six standard symbols can be defined here.
Only those cores of a cable can be dragged from the item tree and linked, which have not been linked yet. The core symbol has to be placed on an electrical connection.
1. Drag a core of a cable from the item tree to an electrical connection on the drawing using the left mouse key. As soon as you release the left mouse button, the first configured standard symbol is attached to the graphic cursor.
2. In order to select another standard symbol previously configured in the options, press the [Ctrl] key and turn the mouse wheel simultaneously. The other configured standard symbols are then offered for selection at the graphic cursor. The symbol attached to the cursor is simultaneously indicated in the status line.
3. After selecting the required standard symbol you can place it by pressing the left mouse key.
