1                         Preparation

The installation of ELCAD AUCOPLAN 2018 requires that you have administrator rights on the PC. If you are unsure whether you have these rights, contact your system administrator.

To ensure that you have sufficient permissions for the installation right-click to setup.exe and select Run as Administrator from the shortcut menu.

Furthermore, at least the operating system Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 or Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 has to be installed. Earlier operating systems or security updates are not supported.

To avoid conflicts close all programs and virus scanners. ELCAD / AUCOPLAN installs the files according to their Microsoft specifications in several system folders. The installation of "ELCAD AUCOPLAN 2018" uses the following folders:

ELCAD/AUCOPLAN 2018 Installation via Setup.exe

Open the folder with the downloaded installation files. Start the Setup.exe with a double-click. Follow the installation steps. During the Setup.exe installation, all components relevant for the system are also installed.

ELCAD AUCOPLAN 2018 Installation via "ELCAD AUCOPLAN 2018.msi"

For a successful installation via "ELCAD AUCOPLAN 2018.msi", the following components (located in the installation directory) have to be installed before.

·            Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributables x86 (ISSetupPrerequisites\{09F56021-05C8-46A2-BCD8-DBF87ED5C928})

·            dwg-lib5030.exe (ISSetupPrerequisites\{B5F9A522-6AA8-469F-A9CB-58C2DF7BF1B5})

Once the components have been installed, the installation of the application can be started via a double-click on the file "ELCAD AUCOPLAN 2018.msi".
