The access to the Internet can also be deactivated in the Engineering Base main menu. For this purpose, select Options under the tab Tools. Mark the option Disable internet access for preview links in the Environment Settings.The AUCOTEC Data Service (via Internet) is shown in the preview window in the catalogs at the Material folder.
To disable the Preview Internet Access
Quit Engineering Base.
Start Registry Editor.
Look for the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Aucotec\Engineering Base\<EB version>\Client\Settings key.
For EnablePreviewInternetAccess set the value to 0.
Start Engineering Base.
