Database manager filter settings

In the database manager, you may define filters for the display of the databases of SQL Server instances. The filters to be defined in the database manager will be stored in the registry editor in the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Aucotec\Engineering Base\<EB version>\Client\DbAdmin\Settings\Filter after leaving the database manager.

Optionally, you may predefine the filters in the registry editor and set the filters in the database manager to read-only, to display only predefined databases to the user.

  2. Start Registry Editor.

  3. Look for the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Aucotec\Engineering Base\<EB version>\Client\DbAdmin\Settings\Filter key.

  4. Select the desired character string (Local, Manual, Network, or ReadOnly).
