3               Merging Options

After clicking the button Options the dialog Options with the tabs Attributes, Others, and Auto Merge opens.

·            Attributes: Options for selecting device types and attributes to be taken into account when merging und separating.

·            Others: Settings for separation.

·            Auto Merge: Enact settings for auto merge.

The current settings are stored in the templates of the active project, if the configuration Merge Device Wizard is present within the project. If this configuration should not be present within the project, then the settings are stored in the templates of the Engineering Base database as configuration Merge Device Wizard. These global settings will then become active in all projects not containing a configuration of their own.
