Devices which have the attribute Exclude from Parts List and for which this attribute is set are excluded from the equipment diagram evaluation. A respective message is created in the messages folder.
1 The Equipment Diagram
The Equipment Diagram assistant is only available in the business solution Engineering Base Power.
The assistant can be started on the Equipment folder, a subordinated object of the type Unit, or on the Functions folder. On starting the assistant on the Functions folder or a function, an equipment diagram is created for all associated devices.
Graphical representations are created for all equipment below a selected starting point.
These include:
the technical data of the equipment and any potential components,
the complete representation of the equipment with all related symbols and cross-references.
Both standard and complex devices can be represented. Complex devices may be represented by typicals (a typical project is assigned to the project) or symbols.
The equipment diagram combines similar components. Sorting within these blocks is done first by the unit, then by the item designation and then by the material number.

By default, only equipment with entries in the Material or Catalog Number attributes is taken into account. If none of these attributes is filled, these objects are not taken into account for the creation of the equipment diagrams. |
