8.27.8                Finishing the connector terminal selection

Figure 331 Finishing the connector terminal selection

Once you have selected all connector terminals, seal and blind seals, you can terminate the connector terminal selection with <Finish>.

Thereupon the connector terminal selection creates all objects under the cavities and sets the corresponding attributes at the connector cavities; these attributes represent the status of the terminal calculation for the respective cavity.

Once the assignments to a cavity have been made, the following attributes are set at the affected cavity:

·            Terminal calculation unsuccessful / invalid

·            Seal created

·            Blind seal created

·            Connector terminal created

These attributes are used for controlling the symbol graphic of a connector cavity as well as for another contact calculation. For controlling the symbol graphic, depending on these attributes the symbols are shown as follows:

Cavity / inline connection point

Cavity
("without anything")

Cavity with status:
Terminal created

Cavity with status:
Sealed

Cavity
("with everything")

Cavity with status
Connector terminal selection unsuccessful / invalid

With <Cancel> you can leave the connector terminal selection without the selection being accepted.

The adoption of the selected connector terminals, seals and blind seals may take some time depending on the number of cavities or connectors edited.
