8.27.3                Calculation options and start of the connector terminal selection

For calculating a terminal, a basic distinction is made between a new design and a series selection. The selection made here will later in the selection process decide about the accepted part validity and – associated with it – about the possible terminals, seals and blind seals.

In addition to the distinction between new design and series selection, you can select between <Update selection> and <Complete new selection>.

Whereas for an update of the selection only the hitherto not calculated or changed cavities are (re)calculated, for a new selection initially all existing references to terminals, seals and blind seals are completely deleted and then recalculated.
