14.1.3                Drawing tools in Visio 2010

The use and editing of graphic elements (lines, rectangles, circles, ellipses etc.) is also effected in the same way as with other Microsoft Office applications.

The Drawing Tools button in the Start menu bar displays or suppresses the corresponding toolbar with the usual graphic functions.

The properties of graphic elements such as line width, line pattern and line color are specified or changed via the format toolbar or the context menu.

In contrast to Engineering Base shapes, graphic elements drawn with Visio do not possess a logic of their own like item designations etc. and are not further processed by Engineering Base.

Visio shapes contained in Visio can also be used.
