The sheet parameters are stored together with the sheet. If you copy the sheet into the project folder Templates / Sheets / Favorites, then it is available with all of its settings for future sheets.

14.1.2 Setting sheet parameters in Visio 2010
Set the following sheet parameters:
1. Specify the grid spacing in the menu bar Engineering Base / Auto Align & Space.
2. Activate the Grid in the menu bar View / Visual Support / dialog Snap & Glue.
3. In the tab Advanced, set the Snap strength for the grid.
