1.    Vollständige Stecker sowie Einsätze sind als Gerätetyp „Steckverbinder“ anzulegen.

1.    Complet plugs and Inserts get the device type „Connector Assembly”.

2.    Bei modularen Steckern sind die Module und Rahmen als Gerätetyp „Steckverbinder“ anzulegen.

2.    Moduls and frames of modular plugs get the device type „Connector Assembly”.

3.    Alle anderen dem Stecker zugehörigen Geräte wie Verschraubungen, Gehäuse und Steckkontakte sind als Gerätetyp „Sonstiges, Zubehör“ anzulegen.

3.    All other devices of a plug like cable glands, housing and contacts get the device type „Miscellaneous, Accessories”.

4.    Unterhalb des Gerätetyps „Steckverbinder“ werden alle Steckverbindungen angelegt:

4.1. Steckerbuchsen als Gerätetyp „Buchsenkontakt”.

4.2. Steckerpins als Gerätetyp „Stiftkontakt”.

4.3. Steckverbindungen, die sowohl Steckerbuchse als auch Steckerin tragen können als Gerätetyp „Kammer”.

4.    Below the device type „Connector Assembly” all plugs connections will be created :

4.1. Connector sockets get the device type „Female Connector Terminal”.

4.2. Connector pins get the device type „Male Connector Terminal”.

4.3. Plug connector which can be filled with sockets and pins get the device type „Cavity”.

5.    Jede Steckverbindung enthält mindestens 2 Anschlüsse:

5.1. Der erste Anschluss ist der erste elektrische Anschluss für einen Draht.

5.2. Der zweite Anschluss ist der Anschluss für die Steckerbuchse bzw. den Steckerpin. Er wird benötigt für die Verbindung zweier Stecker von Buchse nach Pin, die sogenannte Nullverbindung.

5.3. Alle weiteren elektrischen Anschlüsse werden diesen zwei Anschlüssen nachfolgend definiert.

5.    Every plugs connection contains at least 2 pins:

5.1. The first pin is the electrical pin for the wire.

5.2. The second pin is the pin for the connector socket or connector pin. It will be used for the connection between the socket and the pin of two plugs, called zero connection.

5.3. More existing electrical connections will be created with higher positions than these two pins.
